Description
NEJ Stevenson is a leading British maker of bespoke fine furniture and architectural joinery, based in Rugby, Warwickshire.
We are proud to be Royal Warrant Holders to His Majesty the King, having first been granted a Royal Warrant in 2003 as Cabinet Makers to Her Majesty the Queen. Our commissions span private residences, contemporary projects, heritage buildings, and royal palaces, including Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated college leaver to join our design department. This is an exciting entry–level opportunity where you will work closely with our experienced designers, learning how to turn creative concepts into detailed technical designs for bespoke furniture and joinery.
You will use industry–standard tools such as AutoCAD, Pytha, and other design software, so an interest in digital design, problem–solving, and precision is essential.
What We re Looking For
An interest in furniture design, architecture, or related creative disciplines. A natural problem–solver with good attention to detail. A can–do attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn new design software. Initiative and the ability to contribute ideas. Some prior exposure to CAD, SolidWorks, is a plus, but not essential. Practical experience within the industry, is a plus, but not essential. Our Commitment
On–the–job training in furniture design, CAD, and other specialist design programmes. Guidance and mentoring from our senior design team. The chance to contribute to high–profile bespoke projects. Competitive Salary for the Industry.
