Forklift / PPT Driver

Pay: £13.40 per hour rising to £13.90 per hour

Location: outskirts of Maidstone, Kent – must have own transport due to location

Contract: Temporary to Permanent – PAYE via Pertemps – weekly pay

Hours: Rotating shifts – Week 1: 07:00–15:00 | Week 2: 15:00–23:00

We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver / PPT Driver for our client’s busy warehouse near Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to secure a permanent role after a successful temporary period.

Forklift and PPT Driver Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and PPT Truck safely and efficiently.

• Loading and unloading goods.

• Moving stock within the warehouse.

• Supporting general warehouse duties when required.

Forklift and PPT Driver Requirements:

• Valid and external Counterbalance Forklift Licence

• Valid Reach Forklift License is an advantage

• Valid PPT License or previous experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment – must be happy to work in warehouse and production if needed.

• Must have your own transport due to location.

• Ability to work on rotating shifts (early and late).

• Reliability and good attention to detail.

Due to the rural location, candidates must drive and have access to their own vehicle. xjnqpsq
