Job Type: Ongoing temporary role.

Location: Shoeburyness, Essex

Pay: £13.50 per hour | Weekly Pay

Shift: Varied shifts from 7:00-20:00 depending on production requirements

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join their production environment in Shoeburness. This is a blended role involving forklift operation, loading and unloading lorries, and manual handling duties within a busy production facility.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently within the production environment.

Load and unload lorries in a timely and efficient manner.

Store raw materials in designated warehouse locations.

Feed production lines with the required raw materials to ensure continuous production.

Work as part of a two-person team, alternating between forklift duties and production line feeding responsibilities throughout the shift.

Support the production floor with the movement of goods, materials, and finished products.

Carry out general FLT warehouse duties, including stock movements and housekeeping.

Complete manual handling tasks as required.

Clean down production areas and equipment at the end of every shift, ensuring high housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse and production environment.

Work flexible shifts, including later shifts up to 8pm.

Requirements

Previous counterbalance forklift experience is essential.

Experience loading and unloading lorries is preferred.

Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.

Able to work as part of a team in a blended role, alternating between FLT and production support duties.

Flexible and available to work shifts from 07.00am. Rota basis with some shifts finishing 8pm approx.
