Food Production Team Leader

My client, a food production company in the Tewkesbury area is looking to recruit a Production Team Leader on a Temp to Perm basis This position will require you to work on rotating shifts with start time of both 0530 and then –1330, working 5 days out of 7. As part of the leadership team you will offer strong communication skills and a desire to ensure your team is performing t its maximum capabilities The main responsibilities associated with the role include – lead and motivate your team on a daily basis – Ensure the highest working stands are met at al times – Ensure Production targets are met – Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times – Report any maintenance or production issues in accordance with company procedures – Have a flexible approach to meet company needs during busy periods As a suitable candidate you will offer the following – Previous experience as a Team Leader in a busy production environment, ideally within Food industry – Good knowledge of Health and Safety – Positive attitude and a desire to create a good working environment for your team – ability to work flexibly to cover shifts and ensure production targets are met The starting par–rate for this position is 14.54 per hour which will increase with further training Keywords Team Leader, Supervisor, Food, Food Hygiene,
