Food Production Operative

Description

The Best Connection is working with our client who are a leading UK bakery chain. Due to increased workload they now have a requirement for Hygiene Operatives to work at their site in Seaham. The roles are being offered on an ongoing temporary basis.

Duties will include:

· High levels of cleaning to ensure production area is free from rubbish and debris

· Ongoing cleaning for common areas such as canteen and toilet / locker rooms

· Working in a chilled area

The candidate:

· Ideally previous experience of hygiene cleaning in a food production environment

· A level 2 food hygiene certificate would be an advantage however we can pay for your qualification

Hours of work:

· Shift three: Working on a rotating 3 shift pattern Monday - Friday:

· Early shift: 06.15am - 14.30pm

· Late shift: 14.15pm - 22.30pm

· Night shift: 22.15pm - 06.30am

Rates of pay:

· Hours worked between 06.00am - 18.00pm: £12.21 per hour

· Hours worked between 18.00pm - 06.00am: £13.21 per hour
