About you

You are a skilled Folder Gluer Operator with a proactive approach and natural leadership ability. You are comfortable taking responsibility for the day to day running of a department, supporting colleagues and maintaining high production and quality standards. You lead by example and are confident training and mentoring new team members, ensuring they understand processes, expectations and safety standards.

Your experience

You will have proven experience operating Hastamat and or Heidelberg gluing machines, with a strong understanding of carton styles and folding and gluing processes. You are able to set, run and troubleshoot machines independently, maintaining efficiency while meeting quality requirements. You will also have experience overseeing workflow, working to production targets and supporting or supervising colleagues within a manufacturing environment. A solid understanding of health and safety requirements is essential.

What you will be doing with your experience in this role

In this role, you will be responsible for setting and operating Hastamat or Heidelberg folder gluer machines while overseeing the smooth day to day running of the gluing department. You will train and develop new starters to company standards, monitor quality and output, and ensure production targets are consistently achieved. You will identify and resolve production issues efficiently, liaise with production management to meet deadlines and maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment.
