FLT Driver

Do you have experience working in a pallet yard or similar environment? If so, this could be the role for you.

We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Truck (FLT) Operator to join our client's business. This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who takes pride in working safely, efficiently, and as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting day-to-day operations and transhipment of goods in a safe and professional manner

Operating a forklift truck safely, legally, and efficiently

Loading and unloading and transferring loads between vehicles

Maintaining clear organisation and tidiness of the pallet yard

Using a hand-held terminal (HHT) for scanning and completing paperwork accurately and on time

Carrying out daily safety checks to ensure the forklift is fit for use

Completing general site duties as required

Reporting near misses, hazards, and accidents in line with company procedures

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience working in a pallet yard or similar environment

Valid FLT licence and confident forklift operation

Strong awareness of xjnqpsq health and safety practices

Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team
