With strong roots in British agriculture, this company has grown into one of the UK’s most respected independent milling operations, supplying high-quality flour into the food industry.

This role is based within a working flour mill, making experience in food manufacturing essential. It is best suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery, and wants to build long-term progression within the food sector.

The Role

This is a hands-on, machine-minder style role, supporting both production and maintenance within a 24/7 flour milling operation.

Key responsibilities include:

* Operating and monitoring processing and milling machinery

* Supporting routine site maintenance and basic mechanical tasks

* Ensuring product quality, food safety, and hygiene standards are met at all times

* Working in a fast-paced, physically active environment

* Occasional work at height and in confined spaces

* Maintaining full compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, internal audits, procedures)

* Assisting the Maintenance team with planned and reactive tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

* Experience in a food manufacturing / food production environment (essential)

* Comfortable working in an industrial setting such as a mill

* Previous experience xjnqpsq working at height and in confined spaces

* Physically fit and happy to be on your feet for most of the shift

* Positive, motivated, and reliable with a strong work ethic

* Flexible to work shift patterns and provide holiday cover when required

* Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle

* Full Right to Work in the UK
