Location: South London

Salary: From 45,000.00 (plus overtime)

Hours:

(Two–Shift Rotation – Monday to Friday)

Salary: From 45k per annum (plus overtime)

Morning Shift

05:50 – 13:25

Afternoon Shift

13:25 – 21:00

Friday (Shorter Shifts):

Morning: 06:00 – 12:00

Afternoon: 12:00 – 18:00

About the business:

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Flexographic Printer to join a well–established and growing printing and packaging company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator to work with high–quality flexographic printing equipment, producing printed materials on substrates such as self–adhesive paper and film.

About the role as a Flexographic Printer:

As a Flexographic Printer, you will operate and maintain flexographic printing presses while ensuring high standards of print quality and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of a Flexographic Printer:

Set up and operate flexographic printing pressesMount printing plates and cylinders accuratelyPrepare and mix inks to required colour specificationsAdjust machine settings including speed, pressure and alignmentMonitor print runs for colour accuracy, registration and consistencyInspect printed materials and maintain quality standardsTroubleshoot printing or mechanical issues during productionCarry out routine machine maintenance and cleaningMaintain production records and job documentationFollow all health & safety proceduresSkills & Experience for a Flexographic Printer:

Experience operating a narrow web flexographic printing pressKnowledge of printing processes, substrates and inksAbility to read job sheets and technical specificationsStrong attention to detail and quality controlGood mechanical troubleshooting abilityAbility to work effectively to production deadlinesStrong teamwork and communication skillsBenefits of the role:
