Description

Our client is a successful bespoke high-value manufacturing business (£2.5m turnover, seeking an experienced Finance Director to provide part-time support.

The Role of Finance Director

You will oversee financial management, ensuring robust cost control and accurate reporting for long-term, high-value projects. Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing management accounts, budgets, and cashflow forecasts.

* Mentoring the Finance Manager and reviewing Xero-based accounts.

* Managing export licences and compliance for controlled products.

* Providing ad hoc analysis on productivity, sickness, and holiday trends.

* Supporting marketing administration for international trade shows.

* Overseeing statutory accounts and tax returns.

The Candidate for Finance Director

* Detail-oriented, hands-on, with a collaborative style to work closely with the owner.

* Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and data handling).

* Experience in bespoke/long-term project manufacturing.

* Knowledge of import/export processes advantageous.

* Must be a qualified accountant

Location & Commitment

* Based in Richmond, London.

* On site Mondays and Thursdays (2 days per week).(Non negotiable )
