Location or Commutable from: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Pay Rate: 17.00 per hour

Shift: Mon–Thu 07:15–16:00 Fri 07:15–15:00 (early finish)

A leading manufacturing and engineering business working across structural, rail, and automotive industries. With a reputation for quality and long–term customer partnerships, they are now looking for a dedicated Fabrication Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Fabrication Inspector Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabrication Inspector with a background in welding. You'll be responsible for the visual inspection of welds, ensuring compliance with drawings, standards, and specifications. Working closely with the welding and production teams, you'll help maintain the highest levels of quality and safety across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out visual inspections of welds to industry standardsVerify compliance with welding procedures, project drawings, and specificationsRecord and maintain inspection reports accuratelySupport welding teams by communicating quality expectations and feedbackMonitor and report on weld quality during fabrication and/or installationUphold Health & Safety standards at all timesThe Candidate:

Previous experience in quality inspection, ideally within welding and fabricationExcellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to qualityStrong communication and teamworking skillsLicence/Certification Required:

CSWIP or Visual Inspection QualificationApply:
