Export Packer

Description

Thrive Oldham is looking for a reliable Export Picker/Packer with previous long‑term experience in similar roles. The ideal candidate is hardworking, accurate, and willing to learn how to operate machinery as part of their development. A strong work history with long contracts in past positions is essential, demonstrating commitment and consistency for our well established client in Chadderton.

Immediate start available following a successful interview. You must have your CV updated as of today before you apply, you must have an experience in picking and packing and IT knowledge (Office knowledge and use of warehousing software). Any warehouse vehicle machinery certificates or experience in driving LLOP/PPT/FLT is a plus. Candidates would be open to do overtime with short or same day notice according to business needs. Candidates would need to be comfortable with doing walk picking as training for vehicles is not performed until the training has finished.

Packing and Picking items and transporting them to the packing area. Heavy lifting may be involved, therefore candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job. You must be able to reach daily targets given by your supervisor. Previous Export packing experience would be an advanatge alongside excellent communication and organisational skills.

Must be able to read and follow instructions in English language, plus have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and be a team player.

Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour

Area: Chadderton

Hours: Monday - Friday 9.30am - 6pm with flexibility to work overtime/additional hours

Assignment: Temporary/ongoing

PLEASE NOTE: Prior to starting with our client a rapid drug screening test and DBS check will be required on all successful candidates, candidate should not have any pre booked holidays.
