Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail–oriented Soldering Operative to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components to exacting quality standards, directly contributing to the manufacture of high–performance audio and broadcast equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform precision soldering of electronic components onto circuit boards and assembliesInspect work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with technical specificationsFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health & safety guidelines at all timesWork collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily output targets and deadlinesIdentify, report, and escalate any production defects or issuesMaintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation

Requirements

Previous experience in soldering, ideally within electronics or manufacturing environmentsStrong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterityExperience with PCBs and electronic assembly processesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructionsStrong commitment to quality, precision, and consistencyGood communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Hours, Pay & Contract

Hours: 07:50–17:10 Monday–Thursday, 07:50–12:30 FridayRate: 13.00 per hour, to start dependent on experience, team leader paid more – paid monthlyContract: Permanent position
