Fabricator
Location: Heywood, OL10
Pay: GBP16.50 GBP17.00 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday Friday
Benefits: Company pension, on–site parking
On behalf of our client, a specialist manufacturer based in Heywood, we are currently recruiting an experienced Fabricator to join their growing team. This is a full–time, permanent opportunity offering competitive pay and a stable working environment.
Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble thin–gauge stainless steel components using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
Carry out tack welding and spot welding to secure components prior to final assembly.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to cut, form, and assemble stainless steel parts accurately.
Ensure all work is completed to tight tolerances and high–quality standards.
Follow workshop safety procedures and quality control processes at all times.
Requirements Previous experience in stainless steel fabrication.
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
Experience with tack welding and spot welding.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high–quality work.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
