The Role

We're recruiting an Engineering Stores Assistant to support a busy engineering stores function within a manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring parts and materials are received, stored, controlled and issued accurately to support production.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving goods, checking paperwork, booking items in and putting stock awayPicking and issuing parts/materials to production and engineering teamsStock control: location management, stock checks and cycle countsMaintaining accurate records using stock systems/paperworkGeneral stores/warehouse housekeeping and safe manual handlingForklift operation (where trained/licenced)

What We're Looking For

Proven stores and material handling experienceBackground in a manufacturing / engineering stores / warehouse environmentForklift certificate/licence is an advantage, but training can be arranged Strong attention to detail, reliability, and basic IT skillsOwn transport essential due to rural location

Working Hours (39 hours/week)

Monday: 07:30 – 16:00Tuesday: 07:30 – 16:30Wednesday: 07:30 – 17:00Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00Friday: 07:30 – 12:00
