Description
Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Location: Yarnton
Salary: £26,500 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday
What will you be doing?
Building and assembling mechanical and electronic components using drawings and instructions.
Assembling and checking camera and other electro-mechanical products.
Inspecting finished products to make sure they meet high-quality standards.
Finding and fixing basic mechanical faults and replacing faulty components where required.
Carrying out testing, packing and preparing products for dispatch.
Receiving deliveries and checking incoming stock when required.
Helping with stock checks, kit preparation and keeping materials organised.
Working closely with the engineering team to suggest improvements to products and the assembly process.
Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised.
Following health & safety, quality and company procedures.
Working as part of a team while also being able to work independently and meet deadlines.What are we looking for?
Previous experience in mechanical assembly, electronic assembly or similar is preferred.
Good attention to detail and a careful approach to your work.
Comfortable working from drawings, instructions and technical information.
Organised, reliable and able to work to deadlines.
Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
