We are currently seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a globally recognised engineering business, supporting the design and manufacture of high-performance electrical components used in critical sectors including medical, defence, and semiconductor industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Hand-wind and machine-wind coils for stators, rotors, and armatures

Assemble and install components to engineering specifications

Perform electrical and mechanical tests (e.g., hi-pot, core loss, balance checks)

Use soldering equipment for thru-hole, SMD, and hard soldering tasks

Inspect parts, raise quality issues, and complete all production documentation

Maintain tooling, follow 5S and H&S standards, and contribute to continuous improvement

Operate hand tools and small machinery for component assembly

About You:

Prior experience in electro-mechanical winding (or similar precision assembly work)

Ability to read engineering drawings and follow SOPs

Competent soldering skills on small components

Detail-oriented with strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude

Basic understanding of electrical systems and fault-finding

Comfortable working to production targets in a team environment

IT literate and able to complete electronic documentation and reports

This Electro-Mechanical Winder role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, small-component assembly work in a regulated, process-driven engineering environment. You'll be supported with training and development opportunities and welcomed into a close-knit, collaborative production team. xjnqpsq
