Electrician

Description

We are now recruiting for an Electrician to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The Electrician will work to ensure that the electrical systems are running efficiently and also resolving any electrical issues that occur to maintain productivity. As the Maintenance Electrician you will enjoy a varied role responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, equipment & fixtures.

Basic Salary + Overtime

As the Electrician you will be responsible for :

* Carry out fault diagnosis and repair in a heavy manufacturing environment

* Identify and review risk assessments

* Regular checks and maintenance of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems

* Fault finding and problem solving on electrical control circuits

* Reading electrical drawings/circuit diagrams

* Installation, maintenance, testing and repairing equipment

* Maintaining electrical equipment, wiring, motors and switches

* Monitor maintenance and purchasing costs

* Diagnosing and repairing faulty equipment to maintain productivity and safe operations

Requirements:

* Experience in Electrical installations

* Experience of maintaining and repairing electrical xjnqpsq wiring, equipment & fixtures

* Able to interpret electrical drawings

* Able to carry out diagnostic checks of faulty equipment

* Experience in a Foundry/ heavy manufacturing environment would be an advantage

* Excellent communication skills
