Description
Hours: 40 hours per week | between 06:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday
Hourly Rate: £17.90/hour + overtime rates
Abundant Overtime: Paid at Tx1.5 after 40 hours. Available during the week, Fridays and sometimes Saturday.
Overview:
We're looking for a Electrical Fitter to join at a busy automotive manufacturing customer of ours in Worksop.
This is a practical role where you'll be responsible for assembling and fitting hydraulic systems to high standards, ensuring all work meets build specifications and quality expectations in line with BS EN ISO 9001.
The company have just completed a record year and have a full order book stretching over 2 years. As a result, there is excellent earning potential with abundant overtime available as the company continues to grow.
What you'll do:
Read and interpret hydraulic drawings
Carry out hydraulic fitting and electro-mechanical assembly
Take ownership of your own quality and workmanship
Promote good housekeeping and follow all health and safety procedures
Support team members and assist with planning and continuous improvement
Be flexible and willing to move between departments as needed
Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a positive, "can-do" attitude
What we're xjnqpsq looking for:
Training in fitting, hydraulic / pneumatic systems
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Skilled in problem-solving and working to takt times
Able to read and understand engineering build specifications
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible
Willing to learn new skills and support continuous improvement
Available for overtime during the week and occasional Fridays/weekends
