Electrical Assembly / Wiring Technician Location: Near Aberdeen Job Type: Contract with potential to extend or transition to Permanent (flexible)Start: Immediate / Short notice preferred

The Role We are currently recruiting an Electrical Assembly / Wiring Technician to join a busy workshop environment in Aberdeen. This role is hands-on and build-focused, working on the assembly, wiring, strip-down and rebuild of electrical equipment to engineering drawings and schematics.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys practical build work rather than site-only maintenance.

Key Responsibilities Electrical assembly and wiring of equipment in a workshop environment

Control panel wiring, termination and testing

Wiring of single-phase, three-phase and DC systems

Strip-down, rebuild and modification of electrical equipment

Interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings

Electrical testing and fault finding

Supporting commissioning and quality checks

Working to high safety and quality standards

Essential Experience Proven experience in electrical assembly, wiring or build work

Strong background in control panel wiring / equipment wiring

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams

Electrical testing and fault-finding experience

Comfortable working in a workshop / manufacturing environment

Desirable (Not Essential) IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience with loom / harness / cable assembly

ATEX / CompEx background

Oil & Gas, subsea or industrial equipment experience
