Double Day Shift Pattern

Early Shift: 06:00 – 13:30Late Shift: 13:30 – 21:00Purpose of a Cut & Crease Minder / Die Cutter Machine Operator:

We are currently seeking an experienced Cut & Crease Minder / Die Cutter Machine Operator to join a well–established packaging manufacturer in Redhill, Surrey. This role is responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of BOBST die cutting machinery, ensuring the production of high–quality packaging products in line with customer specifications and production targets.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, product quality and continuous production performance within a fast–paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Cut and Crease Minder / Die Cutter Machine Operator:

Set up and operate BOBST die cutting machinery to precise production specificationsMonitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality, accuracy and efficiencyCarry out die cutting, creasing, embossing and debossing to required standardsLoad and unload materials accurately, ensuring correct alignment and cutting precisionWork with a range of substrates including paper, folding boxboard and corrugated materialsPerform routine machine maintenance and maintain equipment cleanliness to minimise downtimeTroubleshoot machinery issues and escalate technical concerns when requiredWork closely with the production team to meet production schedules and deadlinesCarry out quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer standardsFollow all health & safety and operational procedures at all timesProvide overtime and shift cover support where requiredSkills & Experience Required for a Cut & Crease Minder / Die Cutting Operative:

Proven experience operating die cutting and creasing machinery, ideally BOBST equipmentStrong technical understanding of die cutting, creasing, embossing and debossing processesExperience working with folding cartons, corrugated packaging and related substratesAbility to set up, adjust and troubleshoot machinery effectivelyExcellent attention to detail with a strong focus on qualityGood understanding of manufacturing health & safety procedures and quality control standardsAbility to work efficiently in a fast–paced production environment and meet deadlinesStrong communication and teamwork skillsWhat's on Offer
