Description
Our client has an opportunity for a Data Engineer to join them on a contract until the end of 2026 with possible extension.
Role: Data Management Engineer
Location: Filton, 60%
Hours: 35 per week
Hourly Rate: £40.00 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS required before starting
What you'll be doing:
Support Data management implementation with in LG domain (eg. network attached data containment)
Support LG data improvement projects (eg site pages , documentation)
Ensure the control and management of the produced data within the LG operational domains
Support preparation of data governance guideline documents and other required communication materials.
Requirements:
Windows command line and scripting
Data analytics (basic level) & reporting
Able to interact with many stakeholders and have a willingness to support others when needed
Agile and flexible in their approach and be able to work autonomously when required.Desirable:
Knowledge of Data Management processes
Business Data Modelling skills
Python programming
Google workspace / sites management experience
