Job Role:Dairy Production Technician

Location: Caerphilly

Shifts: Monday to Friday, Day, Afternoon.

Pay Rate: GBP13.50 – GBP27 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Processing Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe handling, pasteurisation, and processing of cream, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, detail–oriented, and committed to working safely in a fast–paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely receive cream from tankers and collate tanker receipts.Test cream prior to offloading using the SG stock control system.Pasteurise cream in accordance with training and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Minimise waste and maximise efficiency at all times.Wash tankers and silos before and after use, following cleaning procedures.Monitor and manage silo temperatures.Ensure adherence to Critical Control Points (CCPs) at all times.Report issues promptly to senior personnel.Complete all records and documentation accurately and on time.Undertake any training as required.Cover for colleagues during holidays or sick days as needed.Perform other factory duties as required.
