Description

Customer Services Co–ordinator

Location: Morpeth

Salary: GBP27,000 GBP30,000 per annum

Hours: Full–time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:45am 4:45pm; Friday, 8:00am 2:45pm

Start Date: Immediate start available

We are seeking a Customer Services Co–ordinator to join a small, friendly team within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a permanent, full–time position that offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to build strong relationships with both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and orders

Input orders accurately into the ERP system and provide regular progress updates

Liaise with production and dispatch to meet customer delivery expectations

Work with the Sales Manager to prepare and send customer quotations

Set up new customer accounts and manage ongoing price updates

Handle and triage technical queries, escalating where appropriate

Lead the in–house generation of export documentation including certificates of origin and movement certificates

Participate in change order processes and support project management activities

Communicate professionally and clearly, including during difficult conversations

Support the business in meeting regulatory, compliance, and customer service standards

Candidate Requirements:

Confident and professional communication skills

Able to handle challenging conversations and problem–solve effectively

Organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail

Comfortable prioritising multiple tasks in a fast–paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) is beneficial but not essential

Previous experience in a customer–facing role is desirable
