Salary: Competitive per annum plus bonus, company car/cash allowance, medical cover and pension

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday + 1 in 4 Weekends)

What you'll be doing:

Join Veolia as a Contract Manager – Municipal Services and Lead a Team Making a Real Difference!

Are you an experienced operational leader with a passion for delivering exceptional municipal services? Veolia is seeking a dynamic Contract Manager to lead our team in Camden, driving excellence in waste management and community service.

As Contract Manager, you'll lead a team of 135+ employees, managing municipal contracts to deliver outstanding service to Camden Council and local residents. You'll be responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, and building strong relationships with clients, elected members, trade unions, and the community. This is a hands–on leadership role where you'll maintain a visible presence on–site, on collection rounds, and throughout the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire your team to deliver first–time collection culture and exceed contractual KPIsManage resources (people, vehicles, equipment) to maximize efficiency and service qualityEnsure compliance with Veolia Minimum Requirements and drive continuous improvementBuild and maintain excellent relationships with senior clients, elected members, and stakeholdersChampion safety, inclusion, and employee engagement across all operationsOversee budgets, financial performance, and commercial outcomesDrive innovation and implement service improvements for customers

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

Proven experience leading and developing operational teams, with waste management and commercial portfolio knowledgeStrong client and multi–stakeholder relationship management skillsFleet management experience, along with contract management expertise and experience working with trade unionsIOSH qualification and senior operational management backgroundService change management capabilities

Desirable:

Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification and Transport Manager CPC.
