Search Recruitment Group are recruiting for Cold End Operatives to work within our client based in Harlow, Essex.

To drive operational excellence within the Cold End area/team and ensure maximum efficiency from production line.

To ensure that the Cold End and the line is running efficiently and productively, ensuring that best practice is paramount by following all SOP's work instructions and training for the Cold End.

Role Responsibilities:–

Inform Shift Manager of faults not being rejected by equipment.

Visually inspect for faults, if faults are found and not being rejected by inspection equipment work with Engineering Team to reject.

Check that full range of limit samples are available at sighting station. If missing, inform Shift Manager.

Visually inspect packaging and inform Shift Manager of any problems.

Visually inspect/handle ware and report defects to the Hot End and Shift Manager.

Use standard pressure tests.

Work with line and service personnel to facilitate continuous line improvement.

Work to current standard operating practices.

Lead focus on continuous shop improvements.

This role requires a good eye for detail, maintaining quality throughout. A good understanding of Health and Safety is also essential for this role.

Full training will be provided.

Reliability and excellent timekeeping are essential for this role.

3 month temproary contract working on a 24/7 continental shift pattern.

6 days on 2 days off shift rotation working on the below shifts:–

Dayshift – 7.00am – 3.00pm

Backshift – 3.00pm – 11.00pm

Nightshift – 11.00pm – 7.00am

Previous manufacruring experience is required for this role together with an excellent understanding of quality systems and procedures.

Must be able to work within a team, be professional in conduct and have the ability to work under pressure.

15.03 per hour. Weekly pay.
