Position: Coded Welder

Location: Blackpool

Job Type: Full-time – Permanent

Salary: £34,476.00 - £38,532.00 DOE.

Shift: Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 15:00

Friday 07:00 – 14:00.

39 hours a week

We are looking for an experienced Coded Welder to join our growing team working on industrial and commercial projects. The successful candidate must be skilled in high-quality welding and able to work to strict safety and technical standards.

Responsibilities

Carry out MIG, TIG, and/or MMA welding to coded standards EN1090

Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans

Perform welding inspections and quality checks

Work on structural steel, pipework, or pressure systems

Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Meet project deadlines while maintaining high workmanship standards

Requirements

Valid welding coding’s/certifications (e.g. ASME, BS EN ISO, or equivalent)

Proven experience as a coded welder

Ability to read technical drawings

Able to weld 25mm/30mm.

Perform Butt & Rotational welding.

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role is suited for a Coded Welder Fabricator who’s worked in an engineering environment and has worked on heavy steel construction structures. xjnqpsq You’ll need to weld/fabricate and be able to perform both MIG and TIG welding. You’ll need to assemble structures together, use hand/power tools and read engineering drawings whilst operating in line with WPS.
