Based in Bedford, you will be joining an internationally renowned manufacturing business specialising in the design and production of a range of components and parts for several industries including automotive, mining, marine and more!Due to increased business and continuous growth, they are now recruiting for a CNC Setter/operator - Turner - to join their machine shop team.

The CNC Setter/Operator will work on several products, setting up and operating a range of CNC and manual machinery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Set up CNC turning machines according to engineering drawings and setup sheets.Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job.Operate CNC machines (Fanuc controls) to produce components to tight tolerances.Monitor production runs, adjusting machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency.Perform in-process inspections using measuring equipment (e.g., micrometres, callipers, gauges).This is a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and duties will be required.Skills & Experience required:

Proven experience in CNC turning and machine setup.Familiarity with Fanuc, or similar CNC controls.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong understanding of machining principles and tool selection.Competence in using precision measuring instruments.What you need to do now if you're interested in this role:Click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV or call us now.
