Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting for a Time Served CNC Turner based in Hinckley.Job Title: Time Served CNC Turner Hours: 37 hours per week - 4 days (rotating shifts, fortnightly)Duration: Permanent Role • Shift 1: 6:00am - 3:45pm• Shift 2: 3:45pm - 1:30amSalary & Benefits:• GBP41,864 - GBP44,713 per annum (including 21% shift allowance)• Overtime available - average earnings over GBP50,000 per annum• Hourly rate: GBP17.19 - GBP18.36 • Shift allowance: GBP676.22 - GBP722.59 per monthTime Served CNC Turner Main Responsibilities:• Operate CNC Turning machines as a Skilled CNC Turner Time-Served Setter and Operator to meet productionschedules and customer specifications.• Set tools, adjust offsets, and ensure machines run to optimum performance.• Edit CNC programs (Fanuc / Siemens operating systems).• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.• Use inspection equipment and self-inspect work to maintain accuracy and quality.• Perform basic machine maintenance (T.P.M).• Safely handle components, jigs, and fixtures.• Raise P.I.R.'s when required.• Maintain 5S standards within the working area.• Work independently with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.Time Served CNC Turner Candidate Requirements:• Time-served CNC turner apprenticeship (preferred).• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Skilled CNC Turner Time-Served Setter and Operator.• Strong knowledge of Fanuc and/or Siemens CNC controls.• Precision machining experience, working to tight tolerances.• Proactive, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.For further information or to apply please call Empowered Personnel on or email your CV to
