CNC Setter/Operator – Aerospace

Southend–on–Sea 30,000– 35,000 Monday–Thursday (37 hours)

An established aerospace manufacturer is looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join its production team. You'll be responsible for setting and operating CNC and manual machinery, producing precision components to tight tolerances while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes and grinders.Operate grinding machines including Wickman Scrivener, Ghiringhelli, Cincinnati or Tschudin.Carry out first–off and in–process inspection using precision measuring equipment.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Complete secondary operations including thread rolling, deburring, drilling and marking.Support production targets, quality standards and continuous improvement.

About You

Experience as a CNC Setter, CNC Operator or CNC Machinist.Able to work to tight tolerances.Confident using micrometers, gauges and other measuring equipment.Grinding experience is desirable, but training will be provided.Aerospace or precision engineering experience is advantageous.
