The Role
Skilled CNC Sliding head setter/operator required. The ability to read and edit programmes is preferrable. Experience on sliding head CNC machines would be advantageous.
We require a keen eye for detail and precision. You will knowledge of modern tooling and machining techniques with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Role Description
Operate designated machinery safely and competently, ensuring all HSE and housekeeping standards are maintained.
Interpret engineering drawing, manufacturing components to set tolerances.
Perform QC checks on components as required by manufacturing specifications.
Essential Qualifications/Experience
CNC sliding head experience advantageous.
Fanuc Control.
CMM knowledge.
Able to interpret engineering drawings.
Flexible mindset.
Experience of working with CNC programmable lathes. Citizen bar feeder knowledge would be advantageous.
Desirable
Participation and understanding of Continuous Improvement activities. Knowledge of 5S and lean principles would be advantageous.
