Location: Wolverhampton

Hours: days with an early finish on a Friday

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established client who is looking for experienced CNC Sliding Head Programmers to join their team.

The Role

As a CNC Setter Programmer, you will be responsible for setting and programming CNC machinery to produce high–quality components to drawing specifications.

Your duties will include:

CNC machine setting and programmingReading and interpreting engineering drawingsTool changes and setting offsetsCarrying out quality checks and ensuring components meet specificationsGeneral machine maintenance and housekeepingTroubleshooting and making adjustments where requiredWorking efficiently and maintaining high standards of qualityAbout You

We are looking for experienced CNC Setters who are confident programming their own machines and have a strong understanding of CNC machining.

Strong engineering drawing interpretation skillsExperience with tool changes and offsetsCNC setting and programming experienceA good understanding of machining processesThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA reliable and professional approach to workHours

Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00

Friday: 07:00 – 14:00

Full–time Permanent
