CNC Miller Setter Operator Afternoons

Location: Warwick

Commutable from: Leamington Spa, Coventry, Kenilworth, Stratford upon Avon, Rugby

Hours: 39 hours per week

Pay: 40,921.40 Including Shift Allowance

Shift Pattern

Monday to Thursday: 2:30pm – 11:30pmFriday: 12:45PM – 5:30PMAbout the Company

Our client is a precision engineering manufacturer supplying components and assemblies to the aerospace and motorsport industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their production team.

The Role

You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC Milling machines to manufacture high precision components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.

Set and operate CNC Milling machines to produce precision componentsWork with FANUC CNC programs including canned cyclesRead and interpret final and stage engineering drawingsUpload programs into machines and set tools, chucks, collets and fixturesInspect finished parts using precision measuring equipmentRecord dimensions against drawing requirements during the manufacturing processCarry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshootingAbout You

Experience setting and operating CNC milling machinesFamiliar with FANUC controls and canned cyclesAble to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityBasic maths skills for machining calculationsA recognised engineering apprenticeship would be advantageousHow to Apply
