Role Overview CNC Machinist (Mill–Turn)

We are a leading manufacturer of high–precision, complex mechanical components for the aerospace sector. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, apprentice–trained CNC Machinist (Mill–Turn/Turner) to join our skilled manufacturing team on a permanent basis working on a double day shift.

Key Responsibilities CNC Machinist (Mill–Turn)

Set and operate CNC turning and mill–turn machineryProduce complex, high–precision components from a variety of aerospace–grade materials to extremely tight tolerancesFull setting responsibilities, including tooling, fixtures and program adjustment/provingCarry out first–off and in–process inspection using precision measuring equipmentComplete all necessary quality documentation and maintain full traceabilitySupport continuous improvement and lean initiatives on the shop floor Key Experience & Qualifications CNC Machinist (Mill–Turn)

Minimum 3 years proven experience as a CNC Turner/Mill–Turn machinistCompleted apprenticeship or relevant technical qualification (highly desirable)Strong background in precision engineering; aerospace or similar high–specification industry experience strongly preferredConfident editing and proving programs at the machine controlExcellent drawing interpretation and geometric tolerancing skillsHigh attention to detail and a consistent right–first–time approach Benefits CNC Machinist (Mill–Turn)
