Location - Leeds
Salary: £16.50 – £17.00
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 4:30pm, Friday, 7:00am – 11:00am

The Company
Our client in Leeds are looking to expand their team by bringing in CNC Millers and CNC Turners to an already high performing team. We’re looking for an experienced CNC Machinists to set, operate, and carry out online programming on a variety of CNC machines. Candidates biased to either CNC Milling or CNC Turning will be considered.
CNC Machinist
Key Responsibilities
Set, operate, and edit online program CNC turning machines (Siemens ShopTurn controls)
Work with XYZ and DMG Mori machines.
Set, operate, and edit online program CNC milling machines (HAAS & Siemens ShopMill controls)
Machine various materials including stainless steel, aluminium, and plastics.
Produce small to medium batch quantities to tight tolerances.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Maintain high standards of quality and workshop safety.

Candidate Requirements
Be either a CNC Miller or CNC Turner with setting and operating experience.
Capable of online programming (Siemens/ShopTurn) – not from scratch but confident with program edits.
Caple of online programming (Siemens ShopMill) – editing programs will be considered.
Able to read engineering drawings and work to precision tolerances.
Reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Team player who enjoys working in a supportive, traditional workshop environment. xjnqpsq
