Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join a well–established precision engineering team. This is a hands–on role for someone who can program, set and operate with confidence producing high–quality components to exacting standards.

What you ll be doing

• Programming CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls

• Setting and operating machinery to manufacture precision components

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications

• Selecting the right tooling and machining methods for each job

• Carrying out first–off inspections and in–process quality checks

• Adjusting offsets and programmes to maintain tight tolerances

• Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment

What you ll bring

• Proven experience programming CNC machines using Heidenhain controls

• Ability to set and operate CNC milling machinery independently

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and precision work

• Experience working on small batch and high–accuracy components

• Strong problem–solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
