The Role

We are seeking a CNC Machine Technician, to increase our capability / capacity in this area, working on small batch work.

This role involves working in a small team to deliver high quality transmission components, mainly for the motorsport / aerospace industries, with a right first–time philosophy.

Key Competencies and Experience

Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and planning route cards to produce components to a high standard within routed timeframesExperience operating the following gear manufacturing machines:Gleason GP300 ES Shaping MachineGleason–Pfauter 200 Hobbing MachineLiebherr LC20 Hobbing MachineStrong knowledge of cutting spur gears, helical gears, and splines using hobs and gear data provided in drawingsAble to read, understand, and edit programmes, including modifying speeds and feeds as necessaryDemonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, with a focus on problem solving and continuous improvementFlexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when requiredWillingness to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines
