Salary: GBP37.5k - GBP43.5k DOE

Monday - Thursday 0700 - 1600 early finish on Friday

I am looking for someone who understands the CNC world and is used to working in a fast paced changing environment.

This is working with a company that specialises in precision components but also offers breakdown repair services meaning you can be programming one minute and the next making a component for a machine to get it back up and running.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor (operations, workflow etc), leading the team of millers & turners, hoping on a machine for urgent jobs and attending production meetings.

You will also need to be flexible enough to oversee the night shift from time to time.

As the company are looking to move their operation forwards and invest more in their machine shop, your input to how things can be improved will be essential.

What will make you stand out from the crowd?

In a perfect world I am looking for someone who can fully programme millers & turners with Siemens controls and is coming from a supervisor or foreman background.

However if you have experience with programming or editing programmes (any controls), you can confidently set & operate millers & turners then there is training available but the right base line needs to be there.
