A growing engineering manufacturer in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a proactive Buyer to join their purchasing team. What you ll be doing as the appointed Buyer:

Raising and managing purchase orders for goods, materials, and services

Ensuring on–time delivery and negotiating best value with suppliers

Running RFQs, analysing bids, and recommending suppliers

Resolving purchasing issues and supporting continuous improvement

Managing custom commodities and understanding supplier capabilities

Monitoring market trends to minimise cost and supply risk

Conducting supplier reviews and maintaining strong vendor relationships

Keeping purchasing data accurate and up to date

Maintaining departmental KPIs and ensuring compliance with processes
