Location: Hyde

Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Monday to Thursday 06:15am – 18:30pm MUST be happy to work nights if needed

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Lab Technician to join a busy industrial site based in Hyde. This is a temp–to–perm opportunity, offering long–term career prospects for reliable and hardworking candidates.

The role involves operating and maintaining machinery as part of the production process, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Operating and monitoring machinery safely and efficientlySetting up machinery and ensuring it is running correctlyMaking basic machine adjustments where requiredCarrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standardsWorking to production targets and deadlinesLoading raw materials into machines and handling finished goodsMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentFollowing all health & safety procedures at all timesReporting any faults or issues with machinery promptlySupporting other areas of production when requiredRequirements

Previous experience in a machine operator or industrial environment is desirableExperience operating machinery is preferred (full training can be provided)Good understanding of health & safety practicesAbility to work in a fast–paced environmentReliable, punctual, and a strong team playerAble to carry out manual handling tasksWillingness to learn and develop new skills
