Description

Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.

Support the reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.

Monitor and manage financial transactions in line with company policies.

Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation.

Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records and files.

Contribute to process improvements within the finance department.Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Experience with financial reporting and analysis.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

A relevant qualification in accounting or finance.
