Description

The Company:

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected company based in the Hartlepool area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long-term position.

MTrec are currently looking for people to start within the next 7 working days, please do not apply if you are unable to start work within that period.

The Role:

* Carry out precise hand soldering of electronic components onto flexible circuit boards.

* Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions and work orders.

* Inspect work during and after soldering to ensure high-quality standards and compliance with IPC or company requirements.

* Use a variety of tools and equipment such as soldering irons, microscopes, tweezers and rework stations.

* Perform rework and repair on assemblies when required, ensuring minimal waste and high reliability.

* Maintain accurate production records and follow company quality procedures.

* Ensure the work area is kept clean, tidy and compliant with health, safety and ESD (electrostatic discharge) control standards.

* Collaborate with team members, supervisors and engineers to meet production targets and delivery schedules.

The Person:

* Previous experience in hand soldering or electronic assembly (ideally within PCB or electronics manufacturing).

* Ability to work under a microscope and handle small components with precision.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

* Understanding of IPC-A-610 standards or similar would be advantageous.

* Good manual dexterity, steady hand-eye coordination and ability to focus on fine detail. xjnqpsq

* Positive attitude, good communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
