Assembly Operative

Description

Talent-UK are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative on a temporary basis in for a growing manufacturing business in the Skelmanthorpe area.

Responsibilities of the Assembly Operative:

Fitting components using different types of cables and connectors

Wiring loom boards

Working with cables such as cutting, crimping and stripping

Work on panels and metal assemblies

Follow drawings/instructions either written or computer generated

Follow work schedules

Preferred Skills / Experience of the Assembly Operative:

Able to maintain focus while completing repetitive tasks

Requires endurance to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday

Good hand and eye coordination

Willingness to learn and take direction

Experience in manufacturing, production or assembly work would be beneficial

Basic computer literacy, helpful but not essential

What is on offer to the Assembly Operative:

Hours rate of £12.21 per hour

Working hours 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday On-site

Over time available

Ongoing in house training to upskill further
