Assembly Operative / Forklift Driver

Location: Worcester (WR2)

Hours: Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 17:00

Pay Rate: £12.56 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

A well-established company operating within the infrastructure sector is currently seeking an Assembly Operative / Forklift Driver to join their team in Worcester on a temp-to-perm basis. The business has over 20 years of industry experience and offers long-term stability and progression for the right candidate.

This role is assembly-focused, with forklift duties supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembling products and components in line with specifications and quality standards

Picking and packing customer orders

Loading and unloading deliveries using a Counterbalance forklift

Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations

Stock control and stock rotation

Preparing and handling delivery and order paperwork

Liaising with transport providers and internal teams as requiredRequirements:

Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments – essential

Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence – essential

Experience working in a warehouse or production setting

Ability to work independently as xjnqpsq well as part of a team

Good attention to detail and a hands-on approach
