People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Assembler to join our well-established client based in Telford, on a temp to perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering an excellent salary and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pmRates of Pay: GBP12.21 - GBP13.50 per hour (dependant on experience)

Day-to-Day Duties:As an Assembler, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

Assembling small mechanical components by hand

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions

Packaging of goods

Picking orders quickly and accurately

Answering phone calls and responding to emails in a professional manner

Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot production issues

Maintaining accurate records of completed work and materials used

Applying maths skills for measurements and calculations during production

Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures

Supporting general workshop tasks and assisting colleagues when required

Essential Skills:To be successful as an Assembler, you will need:

Proven experience in assembly

Good literacy and numeracy skills

Good customer service skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills

A proactive approach to problem-solving and strong attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

Previous experience within assembly

Use of email in a professional setting

Training Provided:Industry-related training will be provided, with ongoing support throughout.
