Description
Very rare semi-hollow 5-string electric mandolin from Fender. Nato body with single F-hole, attractive flame maple top, and tobacco sunburst finish. The back, sides, neck, and headstock are finished in black. Made in Korea and discontinued in 2007. Immaculate low action and pleasing, mellow jazz guitar-like tone, but also capable of brighter tones. There are two single-coil pickups which take well to effects, tone and volume controls, and a 3-way selector switch. 18-fret rosewood fretboard with dot inlays, 1-3/8" nut width, 14" scale, chrome hardware, strings-through-body bridge, 5-in--line tortoiseshell tuners, pearl headstock logo, bound top.
