Warehouse Team Manager – PM shift

Location: Leeds

Salary: c 35,000.00

Hours: Monday to Thursday 4.00pm – 00.30am and Sunday 07.00 – 14.00

Summary:

This role requires an experienced warehouse team manager who has a desire to progress further and can ensure their people are engaged and perform to the highest of standards with excellent customer care in a high volume, FMCG environment. You will ensure a clear operational plan and drive a safety culture reduce costs and improve service levels as well as implement a culture of continuous improvement through lean working.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the efficient operational running of the pick and pack operation

Drive a customer centric focus

Provide effective leadership and motivation to the staff

Lead best practice for safety

Ensure 121's, appraisals and absence management is completed

Experience:

Managed a team of 40 + in a fast paced, customer focused environment

Continuous improvement mindset using lean techniques

Able to make recommendations for the improvement of processes and procedures

Strong people management skills

Knowledge of Manhattan WMS preferred
