Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Derby

Working Hours: 14:00 - 23:00 working any 5 from 7 days.

Salary up to GBP35,734 per annum (dependent on experience)

Fairfax Meadow has been putting great meat on the menu for over 50 years. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to help lead our Derby operation, ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately, safely and on time. This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope to develop people and improve performance.

A satisfying role

As a Warehouse Supervisor, your leadership and organisational skills will be key to keeping our warehouse running smoothly. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead and motivate the team, and help drive standards across the warehouse. You'll also play an important role in developing your team's skills and knowledge, creating a positive working environment and ensuring we deliver against our targets.

Lead, motivate and develop warehouse colleaguesDrive KPI performance and high operational standardsPromote a strong food safety and health and safety culturePlan resources, rotas and staffing to support the operationBuild team capability through training and developmentWork with the Warehouse Manager to improve service, efficiency and performanceWhat we are looking for

Previous supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics or distributionFood manufacturing, food distribution, chilled logistics or FMCG experience Confident people leadership and clear communicationA proactive approach and the ability to perform under pressureGood IT skills, attention to detail and a focus on standardsFlexibility to work the stated 5-out-of-7 rota, including weekends
