WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR – BASINGSTOKE

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Team Lead to join our busy client based in central Basingstoke area.

Successful candidates must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift certificate and have supervisory or team leader experience.

Salary: 31,000 to 34,000

Hours: Start times: 6:30am (10 hour shifts), working 4 days per week (totalling 40 hour working week)

Successful candidates will be required to work alternate weekends.

What would be the main responsibilities?

You would be working within a small team, in a high pressured and busy role.

Each individual team helps to ensure the smooth running of the company's operations, so you would be playing an important and integral role in the whole logistics process. You will be overseeing daily operations and ensuring all health and safety measures are met.

The successful Warehouse Supervisor would be responsible for:–

Supervising operators and monitoring productivity. Attending meetings on behalf of your team. Assessing and controlling productivity. Training new forklift operators. Checking the products and placing into storage. You would also be in control of moving the products around the warehouse to various stations safely. Recording data for inspections. The successful Warehouse Supervisor must:–

Be a good communicator. Setting a good example Be self motivated. Able to multi–task and prioritise work loads. Problem solving and critical thinking. Use own initiative. Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence. The successful Warehouse Supervisor will be required to work 4 days a week / 40 hours per week, which will involve working alternate weekends and bank holidays (depending working patterns).

The successful Warehouse Supervisor will be entitled to the following benefits:–
