Warehouse Team Leader

Brough

30,000 per annum

Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

Are you a seasoned logistics professional with a passion for leading teams and driving operational excellence? Join a leading East Yorkshire manufacturer/distribution centre, where your leadership will directly impact customer satisfaction and delivery performance.

As Warehouse Team Leader, you'll take charge of the Goods Out team, ensuring accurate order picking, stock rotation, and seamless dispatch operations. You'll work closely with Transport & Planning to meet daily priorities, maintain high standards of GMP, and lead your team to hit 100% OTIF targets.

This is a hands–on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast–paced manufacturing and logistics environment.

Key Features & Benefits

Location: East Yorkshire, working for a well–established manufacturer with its own distribution centre.Role: Lead the Goods Out team, ensuring accurate picking, stock management, and timely dispatch.Team Leadership: Manage daily labour, run team briefs, monitor performance, and support training & development.Collaboration: Work closely with Transport & Planning to align stock availability with dispatch priorities.Quality Focus: Ensure all orders meet product and quality standards with full traceability.Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency and quality through proactive problem–solving and GMP inspections.Health & Safety: Promote safe working practices with a zero–tolerance approach to unsafe behaviour.Requirements: Experienced in a Team Leader/Supervisor role in manufacturing/logistics.Strong people management and communication skills.Forklift licences (Counterbalance & Reach Truck).IOSH/NEBOSH awareness desirable.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
